Hyundai Creta N Line vs Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport: Differences Explained

Volkswagen had recently revealed the new sporty looking GT variants for the Taigun: GT Plus Sport and GT Line Sport. The attractive GT variants are offered with the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine as well as the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The GT Plus Sport gets the larger engine, as well as some additional design elements over GT Line Sport. Coming to the comparison, the GT Plus Sport variant of the Taigun competes directly with the Creta N Line that was launched in March 2024.

Here’s a side-by-side comparison of these sporty looking compact SUVs

The Taigun GT Plus Sport gets a similar design language as the standard Taigun, while the Creta N Line features a slightly different grille and different logo placement than the regular Creta. The Taigun GT Sport Plus trim brings blacked-out elements to the headlights, grille, and bumper, and it also gets a red ‘GT’ badge on the front grille and dark finish on the underbody diffuser while the Creta N Line gets red inserts and the N Line badging up front.

The side fenders of both SUVs feature the respective 'GT' and 'N Line' badges. On the side, the Creta N Line has extra red inserts. Its sportier appearance is enhanced by these red inserts, which also help distinguish it as the sportier N Line version of the Creta.

The Taigun's GT Plus Sport variant comes with 17-inch blacked-out alloy wheels, while the Creta N Line gets larger 18-inch alloy wheels. Both the SUVs get red brake callipers, but the Creta gets the N Line badging on them.

Coming to the rear, the Taigun gives a more stealthy appearance, while the Creta N Line looks sporty with the red inserts. The Taigun gets a dark-finished rear diffuser and a red 'GT' badge on the tailgate. In contrast, the Creta N Line gets an extended rear spoiler, red inserts on the bumper, and a dual-tip exhaust setup.
