BREAKING: Ather Rizta Pre-Bookings Begin

Ather Energy is gearing up to launch its family scooter, the Ather Rizta on April 6, 2024 on Ather Community Day. And now pre-bookings for the same are open on the EV maker’s website for a nominal fee of Rs 999.

The upcoming Ather Rizta, as a family-oriented scooter, will get a much larger seat than the Ather 450X. In fact, Ather’s CEO claimed last month that the Rizta’s seat will be the biggest in the market. Also, it is expected to get a big underseat storage space (for perspective, the Ather 450X gets a 22-litre underseat storage space). The EV maker recently teased the water wading capacity of the scooter, where it was seen moving through about 1.3 feet of water. From that teaser, we got to see that the family gets a wide apron with apron-mounted LED headlight and the DRL is placed towards the bottom of the headlight cowl.

The battery’s durability was also tested in a teaser, where it was dropped from a height of 40 feet, equivalent to a four-storey building and the battery remained intact. Along with the Rizta, Ather Energy will also be rolling out the new Atherstack 6 OTA update and launching a smart accessory called ‘Halo’ on April 6, which is likely to be a smart helmet.
