Police Hunt Person Behind Chadderton Bus Stop Stabbing

A young man was fighting for his life after been stabbed on Bentley Street in Chadderton, just before 1am on 1st July 2021.

Greater Manchester Police are on the hunt for the person responsible for leaving the 26-year-old man in hospital after the horror bus stop stabbing.

The Bus firm (First) confirmed an ambulance was called when a driver saw a blood soaked man staggering towards his bus in Middleton Road.

The driver calmly helped the injured man onto the bus, taking him to safety before alerting the police and emergency services.

Crime scene investigators closed the road for a long period, placing evidence markers alongside drops of blood and personal items on Garforth Street.

Manchester Police have confirmed that no one has been arrested over the incident.
