A fatal collision which happened on Stockport Road near the Joshua Bradley pub in Hyde has claimed the life of a local woman.
She died after a vehicle she was travelling in was involved in a three-car crash at 1.40pm on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash involved a BMW, a Kia and a Renault. It is believed that the woman was cut from one of the cars by firefighters,
Two men were taken to hospital by ambulance. One of them has suffered serious injuries after been cut out of one of the cars.
Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: “At 1.40pm today, Wednesday 26 February 2020, police were called to reports of a three-car collision on Stockport Road, Woodley.
“The collision involved a BMW, a Kia and a Renault. One female was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Two men have been taken to hospital, one of whom has serious injuries. No arrests have been made, Enquiries are ongoing.”
