Wigan Man Critically Injured After Range Rover Hit-and-run

 

A 46-year-old man is in critical condition after he was struck by a silver Range Rover in Wigan. The collision took place at around 6.20am on Sunday, September 15.

The collision happened on High Street, at the junction with Alder Street, in Atherton. The driver of the Range Rover failed to stop following the incident.

The victim was left suffering with serious injuries to his head, ankle and pelvis. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Police said there are specialist officers supporting them whilst they continue their investigation. They are also appealing for help from the general public to trace the vehicle.
