This Sunday’s London Marathon will see hundreds of thousands of people on the streets of the Capital. This means that roads will be closed in the surrounding areas.
Public transport will also be very busy as the annual sporting event will bring extra patronage to Central London.
London Marathon organisers have got an official guide to road closures and public transport. Click here tfl.gov.uk/bus/status for everything you need to know about the London area on Marathon day.
Buses in affected arrears will either be diverted or will not run the full length of their route until after the event.
London Underground, London Overground and the Docklands Light Railway also have extra services running on the day of the marathon.
Tube stops in close proximity to the course route, including stations on the Jubilee line, Circle and District lines and DLR are likely to be extremely busy.
