A BMW driver has been carjacked in a Bradford Morrisons car park. He was robbed of his car at gunpoint in an armed hold-up.
The carjacking took place at Thornbury supermarket on Rushton Avenue after the driver was approached by three armed men.
A witness claimed that the BMW was driven off at high speed after an altercation in the car park between the men.
Armed officers responded to the incident which was reported at 8.42am. He said a handgun was reported seen and that the stolen vehicle had been found.
Paramedics also raced to the scene after it was claimed that the victim was hit with the weapon.
A police spokesperson confirmed that inquiries were ongoing at the scene.
